on Wednesday kuzko was neutered,
had three yearly vaccinations,
a microchip put in his neck,
and got a tattoo (my little rebel..)
after all that he has the wear the Cone of Shame for a week!
poor guy.
It feels good to have everything up to date and good with him though.
I love living in a dog loving city.
Its seams as almost everyone has a dog.
There are a lot of places and parks and lakes to take pups
Its so funny to me, whenever I take kuzko out to play he meets a new friend and I usually meet his new friends owner, however, we don't exchange names or anything about our selves until about the third time seeing them.
Instead, we talk about our dogs.
their name, age, breed, behavior, likes, dislikes, what they like to do in their spare time..etc.
If I run into my new neighbor (kuzko's new friend's master) with out kuzko it is
"hi, how is Kuzko doing??"
"I'M GREAT, THANK YOU!"
should be my reply.
but instead,
"he's fluffy. as usual. how is (dogs name here)??"
I can't say that I mind it that much.
I am not much of a social person and especially with new people.
So, if you already have a little fluffy something to talk about then, why not??
spares me (or them, because you know they don't want to either) trying to come up with other things to talk about..like the weather?
"yep. its...hot...you think the sun will be out tomorrow too?"
"most likely."
"welp. I just realized I forgot to shower today, Adiós!!"
this weekend Husb. had to go out of town.
(an hour away to San Antonio)
for a work conference/'get together'/male bonding time/training/rodeo/nice hotel
with all the other service tech's in the
south central region of the united states of america.
I stayed home with my drunk on pain meds pup and watched Veronica Mars late into the night then laid on air bed trying to sleep with out my best friend. Didn't work.
today, I will help my sister-in-law, Tara, move and it will be a great day!
